Derby Woe As Nike Record Goes

July is continuing the challenge to become the best month of 2013 with another two Best Days' on the Nike Fuelband and preparation is underway for the third 'XBOX 360 Weekender'.

Last week saw two new 'Best Days' but this week saw two more including a double break of 7,200 meaning an overall total of 14,415 so the next target is to get to 7,250.

As i predicted last week, I had my performance review on Thursday which lasted an hour and had some positives as I received some rotation across grids and have improved my overall percentage score.

The weekend saw some woe as I attended my second Warriors away game only to see us lose in the derby against St Helens at Langtree Park on an emotional night with the high of a 40 yard Pat Richards drop goal and the low of a late try by Saints.

This weekend will see me travelling to Leigh for the Challenge Cup Semi Final against London and a new type of 'XBOX 360 Weekender' with games chosen being ones not yet played or with under 5% of the achievement's unlocked.

Nike Hits 7,000 As Warriors Reach Semis

July is gradually becoming the best month of 2013 after the massive success of June this is due to more records going on Nike and my 'XBOX 360 Weekender' taking in a second week.

Last week saw two new 'Best Days' but this week saw two more including the breaking of the 7,000 fuel barrier both times which i predicted last week, the current best day hit on Wednesday at an amazing 7,116 which toppled the previous best by over 300. The following day became the second best overall by hitting 7,007 in a spectacular two days totalling 14,123 - this time last year it would have taken 4 days to do that.

This weekend saw the second 'XBOX 360 Weekender' which despite not beating the previous event still posted a reasonable 28 achievements resulting in a haul of 635G.

On the X360 overall this week, I have unlocked 33 achievements and 745G due to only four days this week meaning my free time has been well spent unlocking achievements.

There was joy on the Warriors front as in front of a poor crowd of 6,327, Wigan sealed a place in the Challenge Cup Semi Final  where they will play London after a 48-4 victory at home to Widnes.

So another good week and looking forward, I go back to work for four days hoping my performance review will finally take place then two days off on Monday and Tuesday with my first visit to Langtree Park on Monday night for St Helens v Wigan.

Record Breaking Start to July

June ended brilliantly and the success rubbed off on July with an amazing start on all fronts which saw two 'Best Days' on the Nike Fuelband, the first on July 4th saw 6719 earned but was toppled on the 7th as a haul of 6775 was earned and I an sure it is only a matter of time before I break the 7k barrier.

Due to having the double bests it meant that the week claimed the 'Best Week' accolade with a score of 40,750 which was a full 1000 better than the previous best. Runkeeper also got in on the act with a new 'Best Week' of 40.3 miles and 4959 calories so the fitness is great just a shame my weight has not lowered as well.

On the X360, I have unlocked 13 achievements this week and 250G but due to working seven out of the eight days so far this month I consider it a good haul which will improve as I have planned a second Xbox 360 Weekender for this upcoming weekend so hopefully it will be as successful as the last one.

There was joy on the Warriors front as after two defeats -the latter being my first home one of 2013, I saw Wigan secure a late win over Bradford to cap a good week and this week the focus turns to the Challenge Cup against Widnes on Monday.

Six Down Six to Go

June has been the busiest month so far in 2013 with massive progress made across a number of goals mainly the fitness and X360 which have seen new records.

Fitness wise, June now holds the records for longest distance, time and calories burned on Runkeeper at 105.9 miles, 33 hours 12 minutes 40 seconds and 12,964 calories which is an amazing accolade considering it is my first ever century of miles in a month and have burned over 1500 calories more than any previous month.

Nike+ also reflects a good month for fitness with the Running app collecting 105.75 miles and 24,742 fuel and the Fuelband hitting 198.73 miles with 45,565 calories and 406,152 steps overall. The combined fuel for the month is 135.389 which despite not being a record is still a great achievement.

A factor in the fitness was the ending of my relationship earlier in the month as the heart break meant I didn't feel like exercising  and as such didn't accumulate a lot of fuel in the first half of the month but the completion of the LOS 13 on the 30th helped the progress catch up.

During the month I have reflected on my relationship in good ways and bad ways and with it now being a full week without any contact despite the money loss, I feel better after the breakup and think maybe it is best to continue the rest of the year as a single man as in not going looking for a relationship so we will see what happens I guess.

The XBOX 360 was badly neglected during the relationship and now I have become single it has made massive progress as I hit another century this month by unlocking 104 achievements across 22 games and in total accrued 2807 TA points and an amazing 1810 G so hopefully July can continue the success.

June was also a good month for the completion of some 2013 goals - Complete 2 years of To-Do lists came in on the 22nd having written the inaugural one back in 2011 and another Blogger goal was breached this time it was reaching 7500 total page views and happened on the 28th.

Pre-ordering the Xbox One (written as next gen console back in Jan) took place on the 13th and the most satisfying was completing a third Lap of Skem which this year spanned 11.2 miles and took place on the 30th.
