A long delay on this and all blogs which continues into 2022 but hopefully will soon even out, next up is August where Sport and Gaming combined closely.
Sport
Football wise, physical attending continued with Skem U closing pre-season and beginning the cup and league campaigns, the NWCP opened with a 1-0 home loss to Longridge Town before a 0-0 draw away at Vauxhall Motors in the FA Cup followed by a 2-0 win over Motors to secure progression in midweek. The success continued with away wins at Runcorn Town (4-2) and Charnock Richard (3-1) and a huge 5-1 FA Cup win at Irlam. The month ended with mixed results as the good run ended in a 1-0 loss away to Motors before a 3-1 home victory over Litherland Remyca.
Physical attendances continued in RL with a great start to the month in home wins against Leigh (50-6) and Salford (16-6) before the lack of club travel meant a virtual att in a 26-14 loss to Hull KR. Then the physical return featured a home double of defeats against St Helens (26-2) and Leeds (14-0) with the latter being viewed in hospitality with a friend after winning a Riversiders raffle. A first Women's physical attendance finally arrived with mixed emotions as it was a 10-6 home loss to Castleford Women and the month closed with a virtual 22-0 win over Castleford on Bank Hol Monday.
Life
The Countdown Weights saw 121 and 122 in terms of round totals with three record weekly totals from 8850-8876 and a new best monthly total of 38,839 which toppled the previous month's high of 38184.
Updating on the friends front, the long term connections continued while the two recent additions to my friends grew ever stronger as a bond with a plus being one over here and the other in the US so the ability to interact freely between the time-zones.
The biggest news in this section came late in the month with a successful interview meaning I began training for a new job on the 31st and will be as a home-worker.
