May has rolled along quickly due to my redecorating project which I am glad to say has finally been completed as is shown in the following images...

The major plus is my relationship with my lovely Letitia which continues to get more exciting and memorable each week, our tradition of a special meal each month saw us try something different as we went to Sharpy's Chip Shop for a sausage and chips meal each before the Wigan v Salford game on the 3rd which was a lovely meal and we agreed was only second best 'chippy' wise to the one we visited when we stayed in Blackpool.
After the Salford game, Letitia admitted that she was enjoying going with me to the rugby and so we signed her up for the half season ticket meaning she can go to the remaining six home games for the price of £120 which I hope might entice her to sign up in full next season with me but we will see how it goes. This week we will add another new adventure to our journey as we go to the Magic Weekend at the Etihad Stadium due to work commitments we are visiting on the Sunday which includes the final game of Leeds V Wigan.
A first of the new format which is usually a Saints v Wigan derby but pitting them against Warrington and Leeds against Wigan will surely make for two intriguing games and make the weekend more interesting for the neutrals.
Also in the works for the future is our first away game which maybe Warrington for me and Saints for her due to work commitments and the possibility of a second weekend away in summer/autumn.
During my renovation of my room, I have been shocked by the mass amount of physical X360 games I have which total just short of 200! So I have some work ahead of me in the coming months in order to clear the backlog and possibly prepare for the next gen console later in the year.
As it is May, the football season has come to an end with Liverpool finishing seventh in the League, one place better than last season so progress has been made and it was sad to see Wigan relegated after eight years in the division.
However, there was success for my home-town team - Skelmersdale United who after numerous play-off failures over the past few years cruised to the Evo-Stik Division One North title with a points total of 102 and with a 2-1 win in the final game of the season in which it was a pleasure to see them collect the trophy and chat to the manager, Tommy Lawson who has finally got just reward for his efforts over the years.
