What A Difference A Year Makes

A year ago this week, I began a three-month course of counselling due to suffering from minor depression, anxiety and social anxiety.

However after being told in April that I was as cured as was naturally possible it was ruined by a really bad last five months of the year but now I can officially admit that the problems that I suffered last year are non-existent.

In my last post, I highlighted that I had found a lovely girl who makes me happy and who I make happy so after another successful night which has included the early success towards another goal it seemed a good time to post an update.

Firstly, we went out on our second proper date to a great Indian restaurant called Raj Gate which I had previously visited for Mum's 50th last month and as expected the service was immaculate as was the cuisine and ambiance.

So we went for a walk afterwards and in passing near Holland Hall, we were offered a free calendar by a man walking past so accepted the offer and gladly as it was expertly designed too so will display it at home and it will be a quirky way of remembering the date.

Forward to what is gradually becoming our second home in the Polaris where we had a quick drink before walking up to mine and basically spending time together cuddled while playing on Assassin's Creed III  before walking her home and sharing a lovely kiss as we parted.

She has very quickly gone from being a girl I was nervous and quiet with on our first meeting to my girlfriend who even when it is only a couple of hours since we parted I miss so much because of how much she has changed me without even knowing.

It is nice to have someone who I can talk to about anything and who I can have fun with wherever we go be it for a meal or just for a quiet walk around the block I guess the best way to sum it up is that I have 'finally found what I have been looking for'.

The other success was my first three sales on Amazon Marketplace which after fees sees me earn a nice £31.40,not too bad for the sake of £2 in postage costs as well as more space on the shelves in my room.

This also means the goal of £100 in sales for the year is already a third to its completion with 2013 still at its early stage so this year is looking better each day with 2012 in the history books.
